The Great Bowel Movement Passes It On!

We’re excited to announce some changes to the Great Bowel Movement, and our “Ask Me About My Crohns/Colitis” and “My — Has Crohns/Colitis” T-shirts!

Starting immediately, we’re donating 10% of all tshirt and hoodie sales to IBD related charities, and we’re letting our community decide!

Here’s how it works:
We’ll have a poll that lasts for 3 months. You can vote for any IBD related charity, or add your own! (email us your choice, subject to approval) Whichever cause has the most votes at the end of the voting period will receive 10% of all the tshirt and hoodie sales that occurred during the same period.

So, nominate your cause, get your friends to vote, and order your shirt! Bam! Double awareness!

Even better, you can nominate ANY IBD-related charity. It can be anything from CCFA, to a specific event, to something close to home, like your town’s Take Steps, or your personal Team Challenge or Get Your Guts In Gear fundraising.

BONUS! Post your photo of you in your shirt, or share a story of someone asking about IBD, and we’ll double your vote! Email info@thegreatbowelmovement.org to share!

Didn’t win? Don’t worry, this repeats every three months.

Check it out on our Facebook page, and start spreading the movement!

Fall Check-Up from the Great Bowel Movement

It’s been a crazy year so far, hasn’t it?! We’ve had a busy summer, being involved in lots of IBD activities, including Camp Oasis, Get Your Guts In Gear, Take Steps, IBDetermined, and more. It has been inspiring and humbling to see so many people getting behind the Great Bowel Movement, from discussions and postings on our Facebook page, to having people take pride in their illness (and their loved ones!) with the Ask Me or the My — Has shirts!

We have watched our community grow, and met some new, amazing, and inspiring people through it.

As we go into the future, we’re going to be changing a few things, including adding beneficiaries to our charity movement, holiday sales, and even a street team that focuses on letting YOU tell people your story.

We’re very excited to be able to devote more time to this amazing cause and look forward to growing the momentum that you, our community, have created in the name of IBD awareness.
